EXT. SQUARE – MID PERFORMANCE

(Thakur Pratap aata hai, gussa mein.)

THAKUR PRATAP (cheekhte)
"Band karo yeh! Yeh gaon tod dega!"

(AADI ruk kar public ki taraf dekh kar, fourth wall todta hai. Seedha camera / sabhi se baat.)

AADI (dheere, saaf)
"Aapne humare liye Holi sirf dekhne ki banayi…
Lekin hum rang ban gaye, saab. Ab kis kis ko rokenge?"

(Silence. Aadi ek thaal uthata hai — gulal ka. Pehle Suhani ke pitaji (Masterji) ko deta hai, fir ek safai kaamgar ko. Dono haath aage karte hain, ek pal ke liye hesitation. Par gulal mil jaata hai dono haathon par.)

AADI (continuing)
"Rang ke aage sab ek jaise dikhtay hain… sirf aankhon ka kohl alag hota hai."

(Camera close-ups — dono chehre gulal se dhak jaate hain, pehchaan mit jaati hai.)


EXT. SQUARE – BUILDING STORM

(Public dheere-dheere aage badhne lagti hai. Ek maa apne bachche ko rang lagati hai. Ek pandit aur ek chamar ek dusre par gulal phenk dete hain. Sur chadh jaata hai. Dhol aur tez bajta hai.)

CHILDREN (chorus, cheekhte hue)
"Rangbhoomi! Rangbhoomi!"

(Suhani bhi bheed tod ke aati hai. Uske haath me abhi bhi anguthi hai. Bheech me ruk kar — anguthi nikal ke mitti pe fek deti hai. Aadi ki taraf chalti hai. Uske chehre par gulal lagati hai.)

SUHANI (dil se)
"Shaadi se pehle mujhe rang pehchanna tha… aur main pehchaan gayi."

(Aadi ke aankhon me aansu, lekin smile bhi. Uske chehre par pehli baar asli rang chadhte hain.)


EXT. VILLAGE WIDE – LATE MORNING

(Holi ab full josh me. Camera montage:

·         Women apne pallu ke rang uda rahi hain.

·         Upper aur lower caste ke log ek hi thaal se gulal utha rahe.

·         Basti ke bachche aur Thakur ke bachche ek hi dhol pe naach rahe.)

(Camera upar se crane shot — pura gaon ab rangon ka samundar. Handheld close-ups: logon ke chehre gulal me smeared, sab ek jaise.)

(SFX: Dhol, manjira, logon ki cheekh-pukaar. Background folk song shuru hota hai — raw, bina instruments ke, sirf awaaz aur taal.)


EXT. STAGE CENTRE – CLIMAX

(Aadi aur uska group natak ka antim tableau banata hai. Sab ek dusre ke haath pakad kar circle banate hain. Beech me rang ka bada cloud uda kar hawa me chhod dete hain. Screen gulabi–neeli–hari–peeli rang se bhar jaati hai.)

AADI (last line, zor se, bheed ke upar)
"Yeh Holi hamari hai. Rang sabke hain!"

(Camera slow motion — Suhani daud kar Aadi ke paas, unke beech rangon ka tufaan. Public ke cheekh aur dhol ke sur climax pe pahunchte hain.)


EXT. VILLAGE SKY – AFTERNOON

(Camera upar tilt hota hai — aasman me rang ki dhool ud rahi, suraj ke saamne gulabi haze. Rang literally “aasman ko rang raha hai.” Guruji ki awaaz ek baar fir echo hoti hai.)

GURUJI (VO, yaad se)
"Ijazat mat maangna, beta. Aasman rangne ki ijazat nahi deta — khud rang le leta hai."

(Screen dhire-dhire white gulal se fade hoti hai.)


FADE OUT.

TEXT ON SCREEN:
"Jab rang ek ho jaate hain, toh sirf insaan bachta hai."

🎬 Rangbhoomi – Ending Note (Festival / Audience Oriented)

"Rangbhoomi" apne anjaam par ek aisa sawal chhod jaati hai jo Holi ke rangon se bhi gehra hai — kya humne apne tyohaar apne dil ko kholne ke liye banaye the, ya band karne ke liye?

Aadi ka natak sirf ek performance nahi tha — woh ek juta hua sapna tha, jisme rang insaan ki pehchaan se bada ho gaya. Jab safed gulal ne gaon ke sab logon ko ek saath rang diya, toh ye saabit ho gaya ki parampara ko todna nahi, naya rang dena zaroori hai.

Suhani ka apna rishta todkar rangbhoomi me shaamil hona aur gaon walon ka ek–ek karke bheed tod kar rangon me ghulna dikhata hai ki badlaav hamesha ek kadam se shuru hota hai.

Film ke aakhri pal me jab aasman gulabi dhundh se bhar jaata hai, toh Rangbhoomi keh jaati hai:

“Jab rang ek ho jaate hain, toh sirf insaan bachta hai.”
