SCENE 1: SKY ABOVE A MEADOW – MORNING
Bright birdsong. Colorful meadow. Tiny cloud NIMBO floats alone.
NIMBO (V.O.) (soft, worried) If I were big, I’d help everyone down there.
SUNNY peeks over the horizon, glowing.
SUNNY Morning, Nimbo! Ready to shine… er, for you to shine?
NIMBO (half-smile) I’m more of a… tiny sprinkle.
BREEZE swoops in, laughing.
BREEZE C’mon, Sprinkles! Race you to the meadow!
They whoosh downward. Below, FLORA, a small flower, droops.
FLORA (weak) Water… please?
Nimbo tries to squeeze a drop. Nothing.
NIMBO I want to help—but I don’t know how.
SUNNY Every cloud starts small. Let’s learn.
Smash to title: THE LITTLE CLOUD WHO COULD.
SCENE 2: CLOUD SCHOOL – DAY
Puffy hallways in the sky. MAMA CUMU rings a bell made of ice crystals.
MAMA CUMU Class! Today: Weather Basics. Breeze, no tickling the cirrus.
BREEZE (can’t help it) Just a light tickle!
Charts show the WATER CYCLE.
MAMA CUMU (CONT’D) When the sun warms lakes, water rises—evaporation! In the cool sky, we hold hands—condensation! Then we share—precipitation!
NIMBO raises a hesitant hand.
NIMBO What if I never get big enough to rain?
MAMA CUMU Then we learn together. Clouds don’t compete—we combine.
SCENE 3: THE GRAND MONSOON ANNOUNCEMENT – SKY PLAZA – DAY
Festive banners. BOOM & ZAP blast a drumroll thunder.
BOOM Hear ye! In one week—the Grand Monsoon Parade!
ZAP Only clouds steady and kind may join.
NIMBO gazes at the meadow below—FLORA wilts a little more.
NIMBO (V.O.) If I can learn by the Parade… I can help Flora.
SCENE 4: TRAINING MONTAGE – VARIOUS
Set to SONG #1: “PUFF UP AND TRY.”

SCENE 5: FIRST TRY – MEADOW – AFTERNOON
Nimbo strains. A single PLINK of rain lands on Flora. She smiles, but it’s not enough.
FLORA Thank you… do you have any more?
Nimbo droops.
BREEZE Hey, we’ll collect more from the lake. Adventure time!
SUNNY I’ll keep the warmth steady. Slow and safe.
They head off together.
SCENE 6: LAKE SHORE – SUNSET
Reflections dance. RIYA THE RIVER hums a watery tune.
RIYA Welcome, sky-friends. Need a sip?
NIMBO A meadow needs rain—gentle rain.
RIYA Then take what you need—and promise to bring it back.
NIMBO It’s a cycle. I promise.
They start collecting vapor. EMBER, a shimmering heat sprite, watches from rocks.
EMBER (tinkly voice) Pssst… little cloud. Why try so hard? It’s fun to sizzle.
BREEZE Not today, Ember.
EMBER We’ll see.
SCENE 7: CLIFFSIDE – NIGHT
They camp near GRANDPA MOUNTAIN.
GRANDPA MOUNTAIN (voice like gravel) Little one, the valley remembers gentle rains. Listen to the wind.

Nimbo looks at Breeze, hopeful.
Fade out on stars.
ACT II (Approx. 45 min)
SCENE 8: FOGGY FOREST – MORNING
Breeze leads Nimbo through soft mist. DUSTY, a goofy dust devil, pops in.

NIMBO We need moisture, not mess.
Dusty pouts and spins away.
SCENE 9: THUNDER CAVE – DAY
Booming cavern in the clouds. BOOM & ZAP train storm safety.
BOOM Thunder is a voice. Loud doesn’t mean mean.
ZAP Lightning is a line. Draw it far from people, out over open water when you must.

BOOM You’ll learn balance, little drop.
They teach Nimbo to count-and-calm: breathe in for three, out for five.
SCENE 10: SCIENCE JAM – SKY CLASSROOM – DAY
Up-tempo SONG #2: “GATHER, DRIP, DROP”—a call-and-response about condensation.
LYRICS (excerpt) Warm air up we go—evaporate! (Kids: evaporate!) Cool friends hold on tight—condense and wait! (Kids: condense and wait!) When we’re heavy, we share—drip, drip, drop! (Kids: drip, drip, drop!) Then back to rivers we flow—never stop! (Kids: never stop!)
Classroom transforms into a dance of droplets.

BOOM (O.S.) Easy!
A surprise CRACK of lightning—in the distance. Startled foals run; kids look up, unsure.

EMBER Why share your water? Dry is faster! Watch me.
He blasts heat at the meadow’s edge; a few grasses smoke.
BREEZE Hey!

NIMBO I’ll make shade.
Nimbo spreads wide, cooling the ground. Smoke fades. Ember scowls and retreats.
SCENE 13: CELEBRATION & DOUBT – EVENING
Villagers beat drums, kids dance in rain. Nimbo smiles… then overhears a worry.
PARENT That thunder scared the little ones.

BREEZE You also helped them. Learning has bumps.
Nimbo watches Flora, now standing tall. He half-smiles.
SCENE 14: THE BIG GATHER – LAKES & FIELDS – MONTAGE
Nimbo, Breeze, and Sunny coordinate: slow warming, careful lifting, patient condensing. Nimbo practices counting and drizzle control.
MAMA CUMU (V.O.) Balance, little ones. A cloud’s kindness is in its measure.
SCENE 15: PARADE TRIALS – SKY PLAZA – DAY
Tryouts. Big clouds perform patterned rains. Nimbo’s turn.
BOOM Show us your gentle rain.
Nimbo starts well—then Ember zips by, flicking hot sparks. Nimbo panics, overcompensates—DOWNPOUR!
Puddles overflow; small critters squeak.
ZAP Stop. Breathe.
Nimbo stops. Silence. Embarrassed.
NIMBO I’m not ready.
He drifts away.

BREEZE Nimbo! The forest needs you. Flora needs you.
NIMBO I failed the trials.

Nimbo looks at Breeze’s outstretched swirl… then takes it.
NIMBO Let’s try. Together.
SCENE 20: GATHER THE TEAM – SKY – NIGHT
MAMA CUMU, BOOM & ZAP, WISPY, and small clouds assemble.
MAMA CUMU We’ll form a wide nimbostratus blanket—gentle, steady rain.
BOOM I’ll keep thunder far and low.
ZAP I’ll draw lightning lines safely away.
SUNNY I’ll dim just enough to help cooling.
NIMBO I can be the center—counting and calming.
They nod.
ACT III (Approx. 20–25 min)
SCENE 21: OVER THE FOREST – NIGHT
Flames dance; animals huddle. Ember cackles, Dusty spins.
EMBER Too hot to handle, little cloud!
NIMBO We’re not little. We’re together.
SCENE 22: THE RAIN CURTAIN – CONTINUOUS
The team spreads wide, cools the air, and condenses. Rain falls in a measured curtain. Nimbo counts: in 1-2-3, out 1-2-3-4-5.
MONTAGE:
1. Drops quench flames; smoke thins.
2. RIYA THE RIVER swells gently, carrying spark away.
3. Villagers form a bucket line; animals follow safe paths.
ZAP draws safe lightning lines out over empty hills.
BOOM keeps thunder as a soft rumble, like distant drums.
EMBER shrinks, hissing.
EMBER You’re ruining my dry party!
NIMBO We’re making room for life.
SCENE 23: DUSTY’S CHANGE OF HEART – EDGE OF FIRELINE
Dusty wheezes, coughs soot.
DUSTY I… I don’t like hurting the meadow.
BREEZE Then help! Spin a clear corridor for animals!
Dusty nods, creating a wind tunnel toward safety. Nimbo smiles at him.
NIMBO Thank you, Dusty.
SCENE 24: FLORA IN DANGER – MEADOW – CONTINUOUS
A spark lands near FLORA. She wilts.
NIMBO (eyes widen) Breeze—now!

NIMBO I promised.
SCENE 25: STANDOFF WITH EMBER – ABOVE THE TREETOPS
Ember gathers heat for a final blast.
EMBER Try raining through this!
SUNNY Nimbo—shade formation!
Nimbo spreads into a broad canopy, lowering the temperature. Ember flickers, dimmer.
NIMBO Breathe in. Breathe out. We share the sky.
The rain curtain continues, steady and kind. Ember finally fizzles, becoming a harmless warm glow that drifts away.
SCENE 26: THE LAST FLAME – FOREST CORE – DAWN
One stubborn flame hides in roots.
WISPY There—at the old tree.
BOOM A gentle boom to shake loose embers?
NIMBO (considering) A soft thunder pat.
Nimbo breathes. BOOM rumbles softly. A precise rain stream douses the root flame. Smoke curls up—and is gone.
SCENE 27: AFTER THE RAIN – MEADOW – MORNING
The valley glistens. Dew pearls on leaves. The village cheers. Animals return.
MAMA CUMU You led with heart, Nimbo.

Simple, colorful infographics.
SUNNY (V.O.) Remember: Water rises as evaporation, gathers as condensation, falls as precipitation, and returns as collection. When we use water kindly, the cycle keeps going.
NIMBO (V.O.) And even the smallest cloud can help.
