🧠 BASIC PLOT:

Ek architect apni biwi ke ghum mein Shimla ke ek bungalow mein akele rehta hai. Vo har raat apni biwi Maya ki parchhaiyon ka peecha karta hai. Jaise-jaise kahani aage badhti hai, hum uske dimaag ke andar ghusne lagte hain... aur ant mein pata chalta hai, ki jo sach dikh raha tha, vo bas ek illusion tha.

(Camera slow zoom karta hai ek khidki par se jahan barf gir rahi hai. Andar ek aadmi – Aarav – drawing table pe kuch likh raha hai.)

Aarav (voice-over)
“Har darwaza khulta hai… ya to sach par… ya paagalpan par.”

(Uski aankhon ke neeche dark circles hain. Uske samne ek purani photo: Maya ki.)


SCENE 2 – FLASHBACK – AARAV & MAYA (Happy memory)

(Do saal pehle ki baat, Maya hans rahi hai, pahadon mein dance kar rahi hai. Aarav uski tasveer kheech raha hai.)

Maya
Agar main kabhi chali gayi, to mujhe dhoondhna mat… main tumhare andar hi kahin mil jaungi.


SCENE 3 – INT. BUNGALOW – RAAT

(Aarav neend se uthta hai. Darwaza khula hai. Footsteps ki awaaz.)

Aarav
Maya...?
(Thoda aage badhta hai)
Kya tum wapas aa gayi ho?

(Andhera kamra. Ek silhouette – Maya ka.)

Maya (softly)
Main kabhi gayi hi nahi...


SCENE 4 – INT. DR. NIYATI’S OFFICE – DIN

Dr. Niyati
Aapko hallucination ho raha hai, Aarav. Maya chuki hai.

Aarav (halki muskaan)
Woh toh aap kehti hain, doctor sahiba. Par usne kal raat mujhe chhoo kar jagaaya...


ACT 2 – Investigation aur Madness (30:00 – 90:00)

SCENE 5 – INSPECTOR RAJVEER INVESTIGATES

(Inspector Rajveer Shimla aata hai. Vo Maya ke disappearance case ko dubara kholta hai.)

Rajveer (to Gauri)
Aap yahan kaafi dino se kaam kar rahi hain? Kuch ajeeb dekha?

Gauri (nervously)
Sahab... kabhi kabhi raat mein, Maya madam ke gaane sunai dete hain... bina kisi ke...


SCENE 6 – INT. BUNGALOW BASEMENT – RAAT

(Aarav ek purana locked room kholta hai. Andar Maya ki sari cheezein waise hi hain. Ek diary milti hai.)

Diary mein likha hai:
"Aarav ka gussa din-ba-din badhta ja raha hai... main dar rahi hoon."

Aarav (gusse mein)
Ye jhooth hai! Main aisa nahi tha!


SCENE 7 – DR. NIYATI KI WARNING

Dr. Niyati
Aarav, aap Dissociative Identity Disorder ke patient ho. Maya aapke andar zinda hai, par sirf ek illusion hai.

Aarav (screams)
ILLUSION? Kya ye haath, ye saans, illusion hai?


SCENE 8 – FLASHBACK TWIST

(Reveal hota hai: Aarav ne Maya ko accidentally push kar diya tha balcony se – gusse mein. Par ussey kabhi yaad nahi raha.)


ACT 3 – The Final Door (90:00 – 120:00)

SCENE 9 – INT. POLICE STATION

Rajveer
Aarav ke ghar ke peeche ek fresh grave mili hai... usme Maya ki laash thi. Lekin ek aur shock: laash 1 hafte purani hai.

Dr. Niyati (shocked)
1 hafte? Par Maya toh 2 saal pehle gayi thi...


SCENE 10 – INT. BUNGALOW – SHOWDOWN

(Aarav mirror ke samne Maya se baat kar raha hai.)

Aarav
Kya tum wapas aa gayi ho?

Maya (mirror mein se)
Nahi Aarav... main kabhi gayi hi nahi. Main toh tum thi... tum ho... aur tum rahoge.

(Mirror mein sirf Aarav – Maya ki awaaz uske andar se aa rahi hai. Uska chehra Maya ki tarah ban jaata hai – full transformation.)

🎭 ACT 1: Grief Aur Guilt (Scene 1 to Scene 6)


🕯️ SCENE 1 – INT. SHIMLA BUNGALOW – SUBAH – DAY 1

Camera: Snow-covered hills ke upar se slow zoom into a colonial bungalow. Inside, ek drawing table pe ek aadmi baitha hai — AARAV. Eyes red, cigarette jalti hui.

Aarav (voice-over, likhte hue)
"Har darwaza kuchh chhupata hai. Kisi ke liye ek yaad... kisi ke liye ek laash."

(Table pe ek purani photo — Maya ki. Uspe chhoti si haath se likhi line: “Tum mujhmein hamesha rahogi.”)

Aarav
Maya...

(Ek breeze aati hai. Paper udta hai. Darwaza apne aap khulta hai. Aarav rukh jaata hai.)


🕯️ SCENE 2 – FLASHBACK – EXT. SHIMLA PAHAD – DIN

Young Aarav aur MAYA pahadon mein walk kar rahe hain.

Maya (laughing)
Agar main kabhi chali gayi... toh mujhe mat dhoondhna. Main tumhare andar hi mil jaungi.

Aarav (muskurata hai)
Aisa mat bol Maya.

(Suddenly loud thunder. Flashback ends.)


🕯️ SCENE 3 – INT. BUNGALOW BEDROOM – RAAT

(Aarav ghabra ke uthta hai. Clock: 2:44 AM. Vo paani peeta hai. Tabhi darwaza ka handle hilta hai...)

Aarav (dar ke)
Kaun hai...? Maya?

(Darwaza khulta hai. Andhera. Ek female silhouette dikhti hai.)

Silhouette (softly)
Main kabhi gayi hi nahi, Aarav...

Aarav aankhein rub karta hai. Silhouette gayab.

Aarav (ghabra ke)
Phir se wahi sapna...


🕯️ SCENE 4 – INT. DR. NIYATI’S OFFICE – DIN

(Modern office. DR. NIYATI notes le rahi hain.)

Dr. Niyati
Maya ke jaane ke baad aap isolated ho gaye hain... hallucinations expected hain.

Aarav
Ye hallucination nahi hai. Uski smell... uska touch... sab feel hota hai.

Dr. Niyati
Aapka brain guilt ko reality bana raha hai. Maya ki death ka guilt...

Aarav (interrupting)
Main uski maut ka zimmedar nahi hoon.


🕯️ SCENE 5 – EXT. BUNGALOW GARDEN – DIN

(Inspector RAJVEER, tough and calm, Gauri (maid) se poochta hai)

Rajveer
Kitne din se kaam kar rahi ho yahan?

Gauri (nervous)
4 mahine. Par kuch ajeeb hai yahan. Raat ko... Maya madam ke gaane bajte hain...

Rajveer (suspicious)
Tape recorder?

Gauri
Nahi sahab... hawa mein sunai dete hain.


🕯️ SCENE 6 – INT. BASEMENT – RAAT

(Aarav ek chabi se ek purana room kholta hai. Dhoondta hai kuch. Ek diary milti hai.)

Aarav (padhta hai)
“Mujhe darr lagta hai. Aarav pehle jaisa nahi raha. Uska gussa... uski aankhein... kuch aur kehti hain.”

Aarav (screaming)
Yeh jhooth hai! Main kabhi us par haath nahi uthaata!

(Diary neeche girti hai. Maya ka chhaya darwaze ke kone mein.)

Maya
Yaad karo, Aarav...

Split personality...


🕯️ SCENE 8 – INT. POLICE STATION – DIN

Inspector Rajveer, local constable se baat karta hai.

Rajveer
Pichle do mahine mein kisi ne Maya Mehra ko zinda dekha?

Constable
Kisi ne nahi, sir. Par ek week pehle Aarav sahab ne ek aurat ke saath bazaar mein dekha gaya tha.

Rajveer
Woh aurat Maya thi ya... koi aur?


🕯️ SCENE 9 – EXT. BUNGALOW VERANDAH – SHAAM

Aarav ne Maya ka dupatta haath mein le rakha hai. Usse gale laga kar ro raha hai.

Aarav
Tumne mujhe chhoda kyun? Kya maine tumse pyar nahi kiya?

(Background mein Maya ki awaaz – ya khayal?)

Maya
Tumne sirf pyar nahi kiya... maine apna wajood tumhein de diya tha...

(Gauri peeche se dekhti hai, shock mein.)


🕯️ SCENE 10 – INT. BUNGALOW – NIGHT VISION CAMERA FOOTAGE

Inspector Rajveer ek hidden camera install karta hai bungalow mein. Raat ko record hota hai: Aarav female voice mein khud se baat kar raha hai.

Aarav (Maya ki awaaz mein)
Kya mujhe dard mein dekh ke tumhe sukoon milta hai, Aarav?

Aarav (normal voice)
Nahi... main tumse pyaar karta hoon...


🕯️ SCENE 11 – INT. NIYATI’S CLINIC – RAAT

Dr. Niyati ek medical file study kar rahi hai.

Dr. Niyati (dictating to herself)
Subject: Aarav Mehra. Symptoms – DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder). Triggers: Grief, trauma, guilt.

Ek line bold mein likhi hai: “Maya ab uske andar ek alag identity ke roop mein jeeti hai.


🕯️ SCENE 12 – INT. OLD STORAGE ROOM – RAAT

Aarav ek box kholta hai. Usme Maya ke kapde, lipstick, mirror. Aarav lipstick lagata hai. Chehre pe ek sukoon bhari muskurahat.

Aarav (mirror mein Maya ki awaaz mein)
Ab main tum hoon... aur tum main.


🕯️ SCENE 13 – FLASHBACK (1 YEAR AGO) – INT. BALCONY – RAAT

Maya aur Aarav ka jhagda ho raha hai.

Maya (gusse mein)
Tumhara control, tumhara gussa mujhe maar raha hai!

Aarav (shouting)
Chup raho! Mujhe mat chhodo!

Maya peeche girti hai... balcony se neeche.

Aarav (screaming)
MAAAYAAAAA!!


🕯️ SCENE 14 – INT. BUNGALOW – PRESENT

Aarav basement mein zameen khod raha hai. Uska haath khoon se bhar gaya hai. Gauri neeche jaake dekhti hai, shock mein chillaati hai.

Gauri
Yeh kya kar rahe ho, sahab!?

Aarav
Maya... finally ghar aa gayi hai...


🕯️ SCENE 15 – EXT. WOODS – DIN

Inspector Rajveer Maya ki laash nikalwata hai – freshly buried.

Constable
Sir, yeh laash ek hafte se zyada purani nahi hai...

Rajveer (confused)
Lekin Maya toh do saal pehle gayi thi...


🕯️ SCENE 16 – INT. DR. NIYATI’S OFFICE – NIGHT

Dr. Niyati files dekh rahi hoti hai. Tabhi ek video call aata hai Aarav ka.

Aarav (Maya ki tarah kapde pehne hue)
Hello doctor... Mujhe lagta hai Aarav ab yahan nahi hai...

Dr. Niyati (terrified)
Tum kaun ho?

Aarav (smiling eerily)
Main? Maya...


🕯️ SCENE 17 – INT. BUNGALOW – NIGHT – BREAKDOWN SCENE

Aarav mirror ke samne. Ek side normal, doosri Maya jaise dress-up mein. Dialogue dono roopon mein.

Aarav (as himself)
Main pagal nahi hoon...

Aarav (as Maya)
Nahi... tum sach se bhaag rahe ho. Tumne mujhe maara...

Aarav
Woh accident tha...

Maya
Toh phir kyun zameen mein daba diya?

(Mirror mein Maya ka reflection. But jab camera cut karta hai – mirror mein sirf Aarav dikhta hai.)


🕯️ SCENE 18 – INT. POLICE + MENTAL ASYLUM – EARLY MORNING

Police Aarav ko arrest kar leti hai. Dr. Niyati dekhti hai. Aarav chup hai – aankhon mein Maya ki shanti hai.


🕯️ SCENE 19 – INT. MENTAL ASYLUM – 1 WEEK LATER

Aarav now fully transformed – Maya ki tarah baat karta hai, Maya ke kapdon mein, Maya ke andaaz mein.

Dr. Niyati
Aarav...?

Aarav (as Maya)
Aarav toh us raat hi mar gaya tha... main abhi zinda hoon.


🕯️ SCENE 20 – FINAL SHOT – INT. MIRROR ROOM – FADE OUT

Mirror mein Maya dikh rahi hai, real world mein Aarav. Mirror zoom out hota hai... background mein ek awaaz:

Voice-over (Maya)
“Jab dard zyada ho jaye, toh sach aur jhooth ke beech ka darwaza toot jaata hai…”

CUT TO BLACK.

Aarav ek large mirror ke samne baitha hai. Uska chehra thanda hai. Mirror mein vo khud ko Maya ke roop mein dekhta hai.

Dr. Niyati (observing from behind glass)
Usne apni identity poori tarah se tyag di hai... Aarav ab Maya ban chuka hai.

Asylum Attendant
Woh khud se baatein karta hai. Kabhi Maya ke roop mein, kabhi Aarav ke...


🕯️ SCENE 22 – INT. MENTAL ASYLUM – AARAV’S CELL – RAAT

Aarav/Maya diary likh raha hai.

Voice-over (Maya tone)
Log samajhte hain main pagal hoon. Shayad hoon. Par main hi sach hoon. Aarav toh sirf ek dard tha... jo khatam ho gaya.

(Usne diary mein likha: "Maya – 3rd July, Aarav ki maut ka din")


🕯️ SCENE 23 – FLASHBACK – EXT. CLIFF – 1 WEEK PEHLE

Maya (real) bhagti hai – haar chuki hai. Aarav uske peeche jaa raha hai, ro raha hai.

Aarav
Mujhe mat chhodo Maya... tum hi meri zindagi ho...

Maya girne se pehle rukti hai.

Maya (thak kar)
Tumhare saath jeena... apne aap ko maarna hai...

Suddenly, Aarav aage badhta hai. Push nahi karta — par Maya gir jaati hai.

Aarav (scream)
MAYA...!


🕯️ SCENE 24 – INT. INSPECTOR RAJVEER’S REPORT ROOM

Rajveer Dr. Niyati ko case summary deta hai.

Rajveer
Final forensics confirm karte hain — Maya ki laash 7 din purani hai. Matlab Aarav ne usse dobara dhoonda, maar diya, aur... uski identity le li.

Dr. Niyati (softly)
Ya... Maya ne khud ko Aarav ke dimaag mein chhupa liya...


🕯️ SCENE 25 – INT. MENTAL ASYLUM – GROUP THERAPY ROOM

Aarav (as Maya) doosre patients ke saath baitha hai. Uske haath mein Maya ka dupatta tightly bandha hai.

Therapist
Kya aap apna naam batayenge?

Aarav (smiling, soft voice)
Maya. Maya Mehra.


🕯️ SCENE 26 – INT. DR. NIYATI’S OFFICE – PRIVATE VIDEO LOG

Dr. Niyati (recording herself)
Case File 221: Aarav Mehra. Subject ne apne guilt se bachne ke liye Maya ki identity fully adopt kar li... Par yeh paagalpan nahi tha — yeh ek psychological survival tha.


🕯️ SCENE 27 – EXT. SHIMLA BUNGALOW – ONE LAST TIME

Bungalow ab band hai. Gate pe lock. Andar sirf ek frame gira hua hai — Maya ki muskurati tasveer.

Camera slow zoom karta hai tasveer pe... phir peeche ek shadow guzarti hai. Female laughter sunai deta hai.


🕯️ SCENE 28 – INT. ASYLUM MIRROR ROOM – FINAL SCENE

Aarav phir se mirror ke samne. Mirror mein Maya clearly dikh rahi hai — uske peeche khadi.

Maya (mirror se, softly)
Tum mujhmein chhup gaye ho, Aarav. Tumhe chain chahiye tha, maine de diya.

Aarav (smiles, whisper)
Shukriya...

Mirror mein Maya vanish ho jaati hai. Aarav ka chehra khud par sukoon bhara mask pahen leta hai.


🕯️ SCENE 29 – INT. ASYLUM – NEXT MORNING

Dr. Niyati file band karti hai. Case closed. Nurse puchti hai:

Nurse
Woh patient... Maya Mehra... uska agla session kab hai?

Dr. Niyati (pause, smiles faintly)
Har din. Har din woh apne sach se ladti hai.


🕯️ SCENE 30 – FINAL SHOT – BLACK SCREEN

Voice-over (Maya)
"Kabhi kabhi... sach itna gehra hota hai, ki dimaag use jeene ke liye jhooth ban jaata hai. Main jhooth nahi hoon... main sirf ek zinda darwaza hoon..."

TITLE CARD:

"Aapka dimaag aapko bachata bhi hai... aur maar bhi deta hai.
