• Ravi (20s) – Middle-class student, hostel me rehta hai.

• Ma (Voice) – Ravi ki maa, phone ke dusre side.

Setting:

Stage par ek table, ek kursi, ek old-style phone (ya mobile), ek dim yellow spotlight.

Script (Hindi Roman)

(Lights up. Ravi table par baitha hai, phone haath me. Dar ka saaya.)

Ravi (self-talk):
"Bas… call karunga. Bas ek baar… bol dunga ki… main fail ho gaya. Bas ek baar…"

(Phone dial tone. Audience me silence.)

Ma (V.O.):
"Hello? Ravi beta? Result kaise rahe?"

Ravi (thoda fake smile tone):
"Haan Ma… result aaya. Aur… main pass ho gaya."

Ma (V.O.) (khushi se):
"Arre waah! Dekha… tune mehnat ki thi. Main sabko bata dungi!"

(Pause. Ravi ki aankhon me aansu. Woh phone ke dusre side kuch bol nahi paata.)

Ravi (slowly):
"Ma… ek baat thi… chhod do. Tum khush ho na?"

Ma (V.O.):
"Main toh hamesha khush hoon, beta. Bas tu khush rehna."

(Ravi phone cut karta hai. Uska mask tootta hai. Table par head rakh kar ro deta hai. Spotlight fade.)
