🎬 Horror Short Film - "Aakhri Passenger" - Horror / Suspense short movie

here’s a 10–12 min horror short film script in Roman Hindi with full dialogue-by-dialogue flow, shoot-ready pacing, and an easy location setup.

"Aakhri Passenger"

Genre: Horror / Suspense
Length: 10–12 minutes
Location: Empty bus at night + deserted road
Cast:

  • Ravi (25, bus conductor, tired)
  • Driver—Shyamlal (50, seasoned but superstitious)
  • Unknown Woman (20s, pale, strange smile)
  • Extra: 1–2 background passengers for start scene

SCENE 1 — EXT. BUS STOP – NIGHT

Wide shot: Flickering yellow streetlight, empty road, wind rustling dry leaves.
Bus halts, brakes hiss.

Driver (Shyamlal):
"Bas Ravi, yeh aakhri trip hai. Jaldi wapas chalte hain."

Ravi:
"Sirf ek passenger bacha hai, utarte hi niklenge."

SCENE 2—INT. BUS—CONTINUOUS

Visual: Only 2–3 passengers, all sleepy. One by one they get down.
Finally, only one figure remains—a young woman in white salwar, sitting in the back seat, head down.

Ravi (walking towards her):
"Madam, last stop aa gaya. Utarna hai?"

Woman (slowly looks up):
"Main… aakhri tak jaaungi."

Her voice is soft… too soft.

SCENE 3 — ROAD DRIVE – FEW MINUTES LATER

Visual: Bus moving through pitch-black highway, no streetlights.
The woman hasn’t moved an inch, still staring out the window.

Ravi (to Driver):
"Sir, yeh ladki ajeeb hai. Ticket bhi cash me di, serial number purana sa lagta hai."

Driver (frowning):
"Bas chup chaap baith. Aakhri trip pe zyada sawal mat kar."

SCENE 4—ODD BEHAVIOUR

Visual: Ravi notices the woman’s feet—they aren’t touching the ground. They’re slightly above the floor.
He blinks, looks again—now they’re normal.

Ravi (muttering):
"Shayad thakaan hai…"

SCENE 5—MIDWAY HALT

The driver stops bus near a small tea stall.

Driver:
"Main chai leke aata hoon. Tu dekh passenger ka dhyaan rakhe."

Ravi turns — woman is gone.

Ravi (shocked):
"Arre… abhi toh yahi thi!"

He runs to the aisle — finds her sitting in the last seat again, smiling faintly.

Woman:
"Main kabhi jaati nahi… Ravi."

Ravi freezes: "Aapko mera naam kaise pata?"

SCENE 6 — THE REVEAL

Lights flicker inside bus. Outside, tea stall guy runs to driver:

Tea Stall Guy:
"Arre bhai, aapki bus me koi aur passenger mat bithaana raat ko… do saal pehle ek ladki ka yahin accident hua tha. Tab se… aakhri bus me milti hai."

Driver turns pale: "Kya?!"

SCENE 7 — FINAL HORROR

Inside bus: Ravi backs away from woman. Her face is now pale, eyes black, faint blood at temple.

Woman (whispering):
"Main… aakhri passenger hoon."

She suddenly vanishes, leaving only the old ticket fluttering in the air.

Driver rushes in:
"Kahan gayi?!"

Ravi:
"Sir… chalna yahan se."

As the bus starts moving, the camera pans to the last seat—a woman is sitting there again, smiling at the camera.

Fade to black.
SFX: Bus horn + faint whisper: "Aakhri tak jaaungi…"

Themes & Shoot Notes

  • 1 Location: Old bus + 1 roadside tea stall.
  • Lighting: Flickering tube light in bus, low warm light outside.
  • Sound Design: Bus engine rumble, wind howling, faint whispering layered in background.
  • Makeup: Pale face + minimal ghost FX (black contact lenses if possible).
  • Length Control: Keep pauses + suspense to stretch runtime to 10–12 min.
