🎬 Horror Movie "Shamshan" / full screenplay

 

👻 Kahani: “Shamshan”

Ek gaon ke kinare par ek purana shamshan ghat tha. Din me log apne pyaron ka antim sanskaar karte, lekin raat ko koi bhi wahan kadam rakhne ki himmat nahi karta. Gaon wale kehte the – “raat ko shamshan sirf murdon ka nahi, atmaon ka bhi hota hai.”

Ek din, Arav, ek documentary filmmaker, apni girlfriend Naina aur dost Vikram ke saath wahan pahucha. Uska iraada tha ki wo gaon ki paramparaon par ek documentary banaye. Shamshan me unki mulaqat hui ek budhe pujari Pandit Haridas se, jisne unhe chetavani di –
“Yahaan raat ko mat rukna… yeh jagah shraapit hai. Sadion se ek atma, ‘Chhaya’, yahin qaid hai. Agar jaag gayi, to sabko nigal jaayegi.”

Lekin Arav ne us baat ko sirf andhvishwas samjha aur team raat bhar shamshan me ruk gayi.

Jaise-jaise raat gehri hoti gayi, ajeeb ghatnaayein shuru ho gayi. Apne aap chita jal uthna, hawa me gunjti hansi, camera me saaye record hona… aur sabse daraawna – Naina par ek ajnabi kabza hone lagna.

Sab kuch tab kharab ho gaya jab Vikram ne lalach me ek purana taabut khol diya. Usme ek tantrik ki haddiyan aur ek bandhan mantra tha. Jaise hi usne woh mantra tod diya, atma Chhaya azaad ho gayi.

Chhaya ne Naina ke sharir ko apna ghar bana liya. Uski aankhen kaali pad gayi, awaaz badal gayi, aur woh shamshan me apne purane “ghar” – aag aur raakh – ko pukarne lagi. Pandit Haridas ne Arav ko sach bataya – Chhaya ek jawan ladki thi jise ek tantrik ne bali chadha kar amartva paane ki koshish ki thi. Uski atma sadion se yahin qaid thi.

Ab shamshan narak ban gaya tha – 10–15 chitaen ek saath jal uthti thi, hawa me cheekhein gunjti thi, aur Naina par Chhaya ka poora kabza ho gaya.

Vikram lalach me atma se deal karna chahta tha, lekin Chhaya ne use turant maar dala.
Bach gaye sirf Arav aur Naina (jo ab Chhaya ke kabze me thi).

Pandit Haridas ne Arav se kaha –
“Atma ko rokne ka ek hi tarika hai… ek bali deni hogi.”

Arav samajh gaya – uske bina Naina nahi bach sakti.
Subah hone se pehle, usne apna hi khoon havan kund me chadha diya. Aag bhadak uthi, aur Chhaya cheekhti hui dobara qaid ho gayi. Naina bach gayi… par Arav zameen par gir kar hamesha ke liye khamosh ho gaya.

Kuch mahine baad, Naina ne documentary edit ki. Jab usne camera play kiya, screen par ek safed saaya muskurata dikhai diya – Arav ki atma.
Ab woh shamshan ka naya rakshak ban chuka tha.


🌑 Moral

Lalach aur andhvishwas se khela gaya ek khel, insaan ki zindagi ka sabse bada khauf ban sakta hai.
Aur jo apne pyar ke liye bali de, woh mar kar bhi amar ho jaata hai.

📖 Kahani (Screenplay Breakdown – 2.5 hrs)


Act 1 (0-40 min) – Setup

  • Arav ek documentary banane gaon aata hai – subject hai antim sanskaar ki parampara.
  • Woh apni team (Naina aur Vikram) ke saath shamshan ghat pahuchta hai.
  • Pandit Haridas unhe chetavani deta hai:

“Yahaan raat ko rukna mat… yahaan sirf murde nahi jalte.”

  • Lekin team decide karti hai ki raat bhar rukenge aur shooting karenge.
  • Raat hote hi ajeeb awaazen, chita khud jal uthna, raksh se chehre ban-na, camera me shadow dikhna – horror build up shuru.

Act 2 (40-110 min) – Horror ka phailav

  • Vikram ek purana taabut kholta hai, jisme ek tantrik ki haddiyan aur ek bandhan mantra likha hota hai.
  • Uska todne se Chhaya ki atma mukt ho jaati hai.
  • Ab horror intense:
  1. Chita apne aap jalne lagti hai.
  2. Nadi ka paani laal ho jaata hai.

  3. Camera me sirf atmaon ke chehre record hote hain.

  • Naina par atma ka asar hone lagta hai – woh dheere-dheere Chhaya ke kabze me aa jaati hai.
  • Arav ko flashback me pata chalta hai ki Chhaya ek jawan ladki thi jise ek tantrik ne amartva paane ke liye bali chadha diya tha. Tab se uski atma shamshan me qaid hai.

Act 3 (110-150 min) – Climax

  • Chhaya poori tarah Naina ke sharir par kabza kar leti hai.
  • Vikram lalach me atma se deal karta hai – lekin woh use maar deti hai.
  • Arav aur Pandit Haridas milkar ek antim yagya karte hain taaki atma ko dobara bandh sakein.

  1. Adhi raat ko 10-15 chitaen apne aap jal uthti hain.
  2. Atmaen hawa me ghoomti hain.
  3. Naina (jo ab Chhaya ke kabze me hai) Arav ka gala dabaati hai.
  4. Arav apna khud ka khoon bali me chadha deta hai aur Chhaya dobara bandh jaati hai.

  • Naina bach jaati hai, lekin Arav ki maut ho jaati hai.


Epilogue (5 min) – Twist Ending

Scene 1 (EXT. GAON KA RASTA – SHAAM, 6:00 PM)

(Gaon ke raste par jeep aati hai. Arav camera le kar shoot kar raha hai. Naina dar-dar se aas paas dekh rahi hai. Vikram steering pe hai.)

Arav (camera ke through):
"Yeh hai Bharatiya gaon ka purana shamshan ghat… log kehte hain yahaan raat ko sirf aag hi nahi jalti, kuch aur bhi uthta hai."

Naina (gabra kar):
"Arav, mujhe bilkul acha nahi lag raha… tumhe pata hai na main aisi jagah se dar-ti hoon."

Vikram (hans kar):
"Arre Naina relax! Documentary banani hai, darna nahi. Paisa bhi yahin se milega."


Scene 2 (EXT. SHAMSHAN GHAT – SHAAM, 7:00 PM)

(Shamshan ghat par teenon pahuchte hain. Chita ki raakh aur jaley hue lakdi chaaron taraf. Ek budha pandit (Pandit Haridas) deepak jala raha hai.)

Pandit Haridas (tez awaaz me):
"Kaun ho tum log? Yeh jagah raat ke liye nahi hai."

Arav:
"Ham ek documentary bana rahe hain, pandit ji. Sirf kuch ghante ke liye rukenge."

Pandit Haridas (sakt sur me):
"Din me yeh jagah pavitra hai… raat ko yeh shraapit ho jaati hai. Murdo ki aatmaen chain se uthti hain. Chale jao."

Vikram (thoda tanz me):
"Pandit ji, darana band kijiye… hum log ko sirf kaam karna hai."

Naina (dheere se Arav ko):
"Chalo na, mujhe bilkul acha nahi lag raha."

Arav (narmi se):
"Naina, bas thodi der… fir chalte hain."


Scene 3 (INT. SHAMSHAN GHAT – RAAT, 9:00 PM)

(Teenon apna camera, tent aur light setup karte hain. Shamshan ke kone me ek jal chuki chita abhi bhi dhuan de rahi hai.)

Arav (shoot karte hue):
"Yahaan raat ko rukna ek alag hi anubhav hai… log kehte hain ki shamshan kabhi soota nahi."

(Camera me ek black shadow jhalak dikhkar gayab ho jaati hai.)

Naina (camera ki screen dekhkar):
"Arav… wahan kuch tha na?"

Arav:
"Shadow hoga. Light ka effect."

Vikram (hansi udate hue):
"Haan, aur tum keh rahi thi ki yahan bhoot hai."


Scene 4 (INT. SHAMSHAN GHAT – RAAT, 11:00 PM)

(Hawa tez chalti hai. Nadi ke paas se ghanti ki awaaz aati hai. Pandit Haridas wapas dikhte hain, haath me rudraksh aur mashaal.)

Pandit Haridas (chillakar):
"Main fir keh raha hoon… is jagah raat ko mat ruko. Tum samajhte kyun nahi? Yahan woh hai… jo kisi ko bhi zinda nahi chhodti!"

Arav (camera pakad kar):
"Kya hai yahaan pandit ji? Hume bataiye, logon ko sach dikhana hai."

Pandit Haridas (dheere, aankhon me dar):
"Yahaan ek atma hai… ‘Chhaya’. Jo sadion se qaid hai. Agar jag gayi… toh na tum bachte, na main."

(Pandit gusse me chala jata hai. Camera uske peechhe andheron me record karta hai, ek aurat ki hansi sunai deti hai.)

Naina (rote hue):
"Arav please… mujhe ghar jana hai!"

Arav (use samjhate hue):
"Bas ek raat, bas ek shoot… kal subah chalte hain."


Scene 5 (EXT. SHAMSHAN – ADHI RAAT, 12:00 AM)

(Sab so rahe hain tent me. Camera apne aap record ho raha hai. Door ek chita apne aap jal uthti hai. Ash se ek haath bahar nikalta hai aur phir gayab ho jata hai.)

Background me – ek aurat ki halki awaaz:
“Main… aa gayi hoon…”

(Naina ka chehra chain se hilta hai, woh neend me bolti hai.)

Naina (neend me):
“Chhaya…”

(Arav ka camera zoom karta hai – tent ke bahar ek safed saaya khada hai.)

CUT TO BLACK – ACT 1 END (40 MINUTES)


😈 ab main aapko Act 2 (40–110 min) ka scene-by-scene movie script style roman hindi me likhta hoon.
Is hisse me horror kaafi intense ho jaayega aur kahani deep hogi.

Scene 6 (EXT. SHAMSHAN GHAT – RAAT, 12:30 AM)

(Tent ke bahar ek chita abhi bhi jal rahi hai. Arav aur Vikram check karte hain. Naina chain me bethi hai, aankhen laal.)

Arav:
"Yeh chita to subah bujh gayi thi… ab fir kaise jal rahi hai?"

Vikram (thoda dare hue):
"Ho sakta hai kisi ne phir se aag lagayi ho… chal, camera chalata hai. Yehi footage documentary me mast lagegi."

(Camera me record hota hai – chita ke paas ek purana taabut dikhai deta hai.)


Scene 7 (INT. SHAMSHAN – TAABUT KE PAAS, 12:45 AM)

(Vikram taabut khol deta hai. Andar se ek khokhla khopdi, kuch haddi aur ek laal rang ka kapda nikalta hai.)

Naina (tez awaaz me, par jaise kisi aur ki aawaaz ho):
"Usse mat chhooo…!"

Vikram (hans kar):
"Arre yeh to sirf purani haddi hai. Aur yeh likha kya hai?"

(Kapde par ek mantra likha hai. Jaise hi Vikram usse hataata hai, hawa tez chalti hai, ghanti apne aap bajti hai.)

Arav (chillakar):
"Vikram, band kar yeh sab!"

(Door ek aurat ki cheekh gunjti hai, hawa me safed saaya ghoomta hai.)


Scene 8 (EXT. NADI KE KINARE – 1:15 AM)

(Nadi ka paani achanak laal ho jaata hai. Camera me sirf andhere chehre record hote hain. Arav dar kar record dekh raha hai.)

Arav:
"Yeh sab sach hai… camera me jo hai, woh aankhon se nahi dikh raha."

(Paani me ek aurat ka reflection dikhai deta hai – woh "Chhaya" hai.)

Chhaya (awaaz goonjti hai):
"Sadion baad… aakhir mujhe azaadi mili hai…"


Scene 9 (INT. SHAMSHAN TENT – 2:00 AM)

(Naina neend me uth kar chalne lagti hai. Uske chehre par hansi aur aankhen kaali.)

Vikram (use rokne ki koshish karta hai):
"Naina! Ruk… tum kahan ja rahi ho?"

Naina (bhayanak awaaz me):
"Main… wahi ja rahi hoon jahan mera ghar hai… aag aur raakh me."

(Vikram aur Arav usse tent me rok lete hain. Camera me uske chehre par ek aurat ka saaya dikhai deta hai.)


Scene 10 (INT. SHAMSHAN KA PURANA MATH – 2:30 AM)

(Arav aur Vikram, Pandit Haridas ko dhoondte hue purane math tak pahuchte hain. Pandit jhaadu aur mantra jaap kar raha hai.)

Arav:
"Pandit ji! Yeh kya ho raha hai? Naina par kisi ki atma ka kabza hai!"

Pandit Haridas (ghabra kar):
"Maine tumhe mana kiya tha! Tumne uska bandhan tod diya… ab ‘Chhaya’ mukt ho gayi hai."

Vikram:
"Woh Chhaya hai kaun?"

Pandit (kahani sunata hai, flashback ke roop me):
"Sadion pehle ek tantrik ne ek jawan ladki ki bali chadhayi thi, amartva paane ke liye. Us ladki ki atma ‘Chhaya’ ban gayi… aur tab se yeh shamshan uska qaidkhana hai."

(Flashback sequence 15 min – Chhaya ki bali aur tantrik ki maut ka dikhaya jaata hai.)


Scene 11 (EXT. SHAMSHAN GHAT – 3:30 AM)

(Naina ka kabza aur tez ho jaata hai. Woh zameen par mantrik symbols khud banane lagti hai.)

Arav (uske paas daud kar):
"Naina, sudhar jao! Tumhe kuch nahi hoga!"

Naina (Chhaya ki awaaz me):
"Ab main wapas nahi jaungi… tum sab ko apni aag me jala dungi."

(Uske aas-paas 3 chita apne aap jal uthti hain.)


Scene 12 (INT. SHAMSHAN – 4:00 AM)

(Vikram lalach me Pandit se alag ho jaata hai.)

Vikram (chhaya ki aatma se):
"Agar main tumhari madad karun… to kya tum mujhe dhan-dolat dogi?"

Chhaya (hans kar):
"Main tujhe amartva dungi… bas mujhe mukammal azaadi de."

(Chhaya ka saaya Vikram ke upar girta hai. Woh cheekhta hai aur uski aankhen safed ho jaati hain. Wahi pe gir kar marr jaata hai.)


Scene 13 (INT. SHAMSHAN – 4:30 AM)

(Arav aur Pandit Haridas milkar ek havan jalaate hain. Haridas mantra jaap karta hai.)

Pandit Haridas:
"Iske liye ek bali deni hogi… tabhi Chhaya dobara band hogi."

Arav (hairan):
"Kaisi bali…?"

Pandit:
"Insaan ki… aur woh tumhe deni hogi."

(Arav ka chehra shock me. Naina ka sharir hilta hai, Chhaya poori tarah uske andar aa chuki hai. Arav ki aankhon me aansu.)

CUT TO BLACK – ACT 2 END (110 min)


👌 ab main aapko Act 3 (110–150 min) ka pura scene-by-scene, roman hindi dialogues ke saath screenplay deta hoon.
Ye hisa climax hai – sabse intense aur emotional part.


🎬 “Shamshan” – Act 3 (Scene-by-scene, 40 mins)


Scene 14 (EXT. SHAMSHAN GHAT – 4:45 AM)

(Shamshan ka mahaul aur khofnaak ho chuka hai. 10–12 chitaen apne aap jal uthti hain. Naina (ab Chhaya ke kabze me) beech me khadi hai, aankhen kaali, awaaz gungunahat wali.)

Chhaya (Naina ke andar se):
"Sadion se main is ghatiya bandh me qaid thi… ab main azaad hoon! Tum sab meri aag me jaloge!"

Arav (pukarte hue):
"Naina! Main jaanta hoon tum abhi bhi andar ho. Lado, Chhaya ko jeetne mat do!"

(Naina ek pal ke liye rukti hai, uske chehre par normal Naina aur Chhaya ke saaye ke beech jhagd hota hai.)


Scene 15 (INT. SHAMSHAN HAVAN KUND – 5:00 AM)

(Pandit Haridas havan jalata hai. Aasman bijli ki tarah chamak raha hai. Chhaya cheekh kar ghoomti hai, hawa tufan ban jaati hai.)

Pandit Haridas (mantra jaap karte hue):
"Om Agni Devta… is shraapit atma ko fir se bandh do!"

(Arav havan kund ke paas khada hai. Naina/Chhaya aakar uska gala daba deti hai.)

Chhaya (hans kar):
"Tum mujhe rok nahi sakte. Tumhari jaan lekar hi main mukammal azaadi paungi!"

Arav (saans toot-ti hui):
"Naina… mujhe dekh… main Arav hoon… main tumse pyaar karta hoon!"

(Naina ki aankhen ek pal ke liye normal ho jaati hain. Aansu nikalte hain, par turant Chhaya phir kabza jama leti hai.)


Scene 16 (EXT. SHAMSHAN GHAT – 5:15 AM)

(Arav samajh jaata hai ki Naina ko bachane ke liye usse apni bali deni hogi. Woh chhuri uthata hai.)

Pandit Haridas (chillakar):
"Beta, soch le! Bali ke bina yeh atma kabhi nahi rukegi!"

Arav (dil me kasak ke saath):
"Main apni bali dunga… taaki Naina jee sake… aur Chhaya dobara qaid ho jaye."

(Woh apna haath kaat kar khoon havan kund me gira deta hai. Agni bhadak uthti hai. Chhaya cheekh kar ghoomti hai.)

Chhaya (dard se chilate hue):
"Nahi… mujhe fir se qaid mat karo!"

(Naina zameen par gir jaati hai, behosh. Chhaya ka saaya dhuaan ban kar havan kund me kheench liya jaata hai. Saari chitaen ek sath bujh jaati hain.)


Scene 17 (INT. SHAMSHAN GHAT – SUBAH 6:00 AM)

(Aasmaan pehli roshni se chamak raha hai. Naina hosh me aati hai, Arav zameen par khoon me pada hai.)

Naina (rote hue):
"Arav… uth jao… please mujhe chhod kar mat jao!"

Arav (kamzor awaaz me):
"Naina… tum safe ho… bas yahi chahta tha… mujhe yaad rakhna."

(Arav ki saans ruk jaati hai. Pandit Haridas aankh band kar mantra padhta hai.)

Pandit Haridas:
"Usne apni bali dekar hazaron logon ko bachaya hai. Ab woh khud shamshan ka rakshak ban gaya."


Scene 18 (EPILOGUE – 6 mahine baad)

(Naina documentary edit kar rahi hai. Camera me Arav ke banaye footage chal rahe hain. Screen pe ek safed shadow dikhai deta hai – Arav ki atma, jo use muskurakar dekh rahi hai.)

Naina (aansu ke saath):
"Arav… tum ab bhi yahin ho, na?"

(Screen black hota hai. Ek aakhri awaaz gunjti hai.)

Arav ki atma (voice-over):
"Main yahin hoon… shamshan ka naya rakshak ban kar."

FADE OUT – END (150 min)


⏳ Ab kahani poori ho gayi – 2 ghante 30–35 minute ka runtime.
Act 1 = suspense setup
Act 2 = horror unfold
Act 3 = emotional + horrifying climax
