🎙 Narration Script – “Chappal”

(Background music: soft, emotional)

Opening (0–2 min)

“Shahar ki chamak-damak se door… ek chhote se basti mein… ek chhoti si beti rehti hai.
Naam hai Rani. Umar sirf das saal… par sapne bade-bade. Sapne – school jaane ke, kitaab kholne ke, apna naam likhne ke.”

Mother–Daughter (2–5 min)

“Rani apni maa ke saath bartano mein haath ganda karti hai… par mann mein sirf ek sawaal ghoomta hai – ‘Main kab school jaungi?’
Maa chup hai, jaanti hai pati ka gussa, jaanti hai garibi ki zanjeer… par uske dil mein bhi beti ke sapne ke liye ek chhupi hui aarzoo hai.”

Father’s Entry (5–8 min)

“Rani ka baap, Raghunath… roz ki tarah nashe mein ghar lautta hai. Uske liye padhai bekaar hai. Uske liye beti ke haathon mein phool zyada keemti hain, kitaab nahi.
Rani chup rehti hai… par uski aankhon mein aansuon ke saath ek chhupi hui zid hai.”

Street Corner & Meera (8–12 min)

“Agli subah, Rani phool bechti hai sadak kinare. Tabhi ek school wali ladki, Meera, usse milti hai. Meera ke haathon mein kitaabein… aur Rani ke haathon mein sirf phool.
Ek hi umar, par do alag zindagiyan. Rani ke dil se nikalta hai – ‘School paiso se milta hai… mere paas sirf phool hain.’”

Secret Studies (12–15 min)

“Dosti banti hai… Meera chhupke se purane pencil aur kitaabein laakar deti hai.
Rani raaste ki batti ke neeche baithe-baithe akshar banati hai. Maa chupke dekhti hai aur muskurati hai. Par jab baap ko pata chalta hai… wo sapno ko thokar maar deta hai. ‘Kaam kar! Padhai tum jaise logon ke liye nahi.’
Par Rani fir bhi haar nahi maanta.”

Teacher’s Intervention (15–20 min)

“Ek din, Meera ki teacher basti mein aati hai. Unki awaaz mein yakeen hai – ‘Padhaai ab haq hai, sapna nahi. Sarkari school muft hai. Sirf aapka haan kehna zaroori hai.’
Par Raghunath ke kaan band hain. Sharab ki dhundh mein wo beti ka bhavishya dekh hi nahi paata.”

Mother’s Strength (20–25 min)

“Us raat, maa apne dil ki himmat ikatthi karti hai. Beti ke sirhane baithkar kehti hai – ‘Kal tu mere saath school chalna. Baaki main sambhaal lungi.’
Subah hoti hai… pitaji rasta rokta hai. Par is baar basti ki auratein bhi saath khadi hoti hain.
‘Beti ki talwar… kalam hai.’
Aaj ek maa ne apna darr tod diya hai.”

Climax – Chappal (25–28 min)

“Rani school ke gate par khadi hai. Paon nange… chappal phat gayi. Bachche uska mazak banate hain.
Par uske sapne ke kadam rukte nahi. Tabhi Meera daud kar aati hai… apne pair ki chappal utarti hai… aur Rani ke paon mein pehna deti hai.
Aankhon mein aansu… aur chehre par muskaan. Aaj Rani school ke andar jaa rahi hai.”

Closing Voice Over (28–30 min)

“Ek chhoti si haan… ek chhoti si madad… ek chhoti si chappal bhi… ek zindagi badal sakti hai.
Padhegi beti… toh badhega desh.”

(Screen fade to black – text appears: “Right to Education is every child’s right.”)

👉 Ye narration approx 7–8 pages ka hoga jab likha hua record kiya jaayega, aur natural pauses ke saath 30 minute runtime cover karega.
