– Old age home decorated for Diwali. Families of other residents visit.
– Hari waits with sweets in hand, eyes on the gate. Nobody comes.
– Finally, he gives sweets to orphan kids outside the gate.
Narration (VO):
“Jinse sabse zyada umeed thi, unse kuch nahi mila… aur jinse kuch nahi socha tha, unse dil bhar gaya.”
Scene 6 – The Last Letter (2 min)
– Hari finishes writing a letter:
“Main tumse gussa nahi hoon… bas itna yaad dilana chahta hoon, maa-baap paise nahi, bas do shabd chahte hain – ‘Kaise ho?’”
ACT 4 – Climax & Resolution (26–30 min)
Scene 7 – Closing (4 min)
– Hari leaves letter at old age home desk for children, addressed but unsent.
– Camera pulls back: he walks with Shanti and other elders for evening aarti, smiling faintly.
Voice Over:
“Bachpan mein maa-baap humein chalna sikhate hain… aur budhape mein hum unhe akela chhod dete hain. Pyaar ke liye waqt nikalna paise bhejne se zyada zaroori hai.”
Screen fades with text:
